Cambodia Community Assets

World Orphan Fund, with its unique operations model, is setting new standards in humanitarian aid and challenging the way aid work is conducted by Australian NGOs. Below are the assets of WOF Cambodia and how they are changing the lives of thousands.

All our assets are confirmed and audited by KPMG Cambodia.

Emergency Response Vehicle

Tbong Khmum, Cambodia

Our emergency vehicle operates in Tbong Khmum with the capacity to tow a 3,500 kg trailer. It transports orphans, the sick and elderly, responds to emergency trauma, and distributes Qurban, orphan aid and iftar.

Relief Truck

Heavy field work

WOF’s relief truck delivers aid packs to remote areas and provides the infrastructure for our water drilling and food harvesting projects.

Tractor

40 acres under cultivation

Our tractor is the workhorse of our self-sustainability projects — ploughing, sowing and preparing land, capable of farming 40 acres. During dry season it also moves feed for our cattle.

More Assets

Harvester

Collecting the crops

Our harvester collects crops when they’re ready. Both harvester and tractor also generate income that offsets our administrative costs through our social enterprise programs.

Infrastructure & Land

Acres for the future

WOF has purchased acres of land in Cambodia to grow food for the poor and reserve for future schools, hospitals, reforestation and sustainable food programs.

Our approach

Self-Sustainability

The successful completion of our goals has inspired initiatives of self-sustainability, now in effect in multiple forms — land cultivation, carbon-offset projects, farming machinery and long-term community development.

Our aim: be part of the ongoing regrowth of Cambodian communities from grassroots, equipping locals with the skills and knowledge to kick-start their own self-sustainable farming.
